WE PLAY IN

We are proud to take part in the NPL Premiership League.  Over the years we have developed several players and teams to compete in the top division of the NPL.  Games are played on turf under the lights at Olympic Park in Schaumburg.  The competition is fierce, and quality of soccer is excellent.  U12 to U23

The Chicago Lightning is officially part of the UPSL!  Our u15 and u17 will be representing our club in the new UPSL youth division.  Our goal is to bridge the gap from youth to pro, all under our Lightning brand. We will be adding our U23 to this league in addition. Exciting times ahead!

We are proud members of the ID League located in Schaumburg, IL.  This league is one of the only futsal leagues that follows strict futsal FIFA rules and regulations. 

Top futsal teams and players are always found competing. Multiple awards and recognition for achievements.

Several of our teams reoresent our club in the Illinois State Premiership League.  Players can expect to compete against other quality and local travel clubs.  We will typically compete in this league to give our Premiership teams extra games during the season,

Starting at age u12, several of our players compete in the MWC qualifier event.  This series takes place amongst several local Illinois teams throughout a year's period.  After the league is completed, teams get ranked in order of their final standings and put into divisions with other qualifying teams.  

BLFC is a proud member of one of the fastest growing networks in the Midwest.  Illinois Elite is an organization of like-minded clubs in the Chicagoland area.  Each club has been strategically selected based upon demographic, level of competition and success in the industry.

This league is our primary source for providing competitive games for girls in Illinois.  Travel leagues begin at u6 through u18.  Most teams will compete within a 30 to 45 minute radius of their home town.

Our top travel teams will compete in this event every year. For u12 and below our teams compete in the Juniors Cup. For u13 and above we will compete in the State Cup.  Teams can expect and additional 4 to 6 games during their regular season.

We have partnered with Indiana Elite Soccer Club to provide our Bloomingdale players more opportunities and exposure to high-level soccer.  As part of this partnership, all Premiership players will have the opportunity to play at the regional level in the ECNL.
