"Based on the recent suspensions by US Soccer Federation and US Youth Soccer, heightened travel concerns, and with the health of our soccer community in mind, all Illinois Youth Soccer run activities are suspended through April 15, 2020 and will be re-evaluated on an on-going basis. US Soccer events including coaching and referee courses are suspended through April 30.
Activities include but are not limited to games, practices, tournaments, tryouts, travel permits, tournament passes, events, etc. Thank you for your cooperation to protect our soccer family.
The Illinois Youth Soccer office will be closed until at least Monday, March 30.

This decision has been made in accordance with the guidance of public health and medical professionals based on the ongoing and rapid acceleration of the coronavirus. As the number increases, the Board of Illinois Youth Soccer has decided to exercise caution in the interest of our soccer family.
We recognize that these decisions have a real impact on you and your own programming, but in the interest of ensuring the health and safety of the soccer community, as well as that of the community at-large, we recommend that members review their own programming and assess the risks and benefits of running, postponing and/or cancelling your tournaments, games, practices, events, etc.

All BLFC practices and sanctioned events are cancelled due to the above instruction for player safety. This includes regular footwork training at CSS. We will revisit after the beginning of April.
Currently, the CSS gym remains open to players but please contact them directly regarding training hours, policies and precautions.
